Excuses Begone

March 10th, 2010

Last night on PBS was the special Excuses Begone based on the book by Dr Wayne Dyer. It is about changing your thinking from a victim of circumstances and your own thoughts put on you by others throughout your life. You can overcome what Carl Jung called the “Id” your subconcious ego. We often use excuses for avoiding or not being able to do things. Excuses which aren”t realistic and based on false ideas.

Here’s a recap an affirmation for each of the 18 most commonly used excuses. The affirmations will assist you in making a conscious effort to encourage yourself to elevate your beliefs, unquestionably!

  1. It will be difficult: I have the ability to accomplish any task I set my mind to with ease and comfort.
  2. It’s going to be risky: Being myself involves no risks. It is my ultimate truth, and I live it fearlessly.
  3. It will take a long time: I have infinite patience when it comes to fulfilling my destiny.
  4. There will be family drama: I would rather be loathed for who I am than loved for who I am not.
  5. I don’t deserve it: I am a Divine creation, a piece of God. Therefore, I cannot be undeserving.
  6. It’s not my nature: My essential nature is perfect and faultless. It is to this nature that I return.
  7. I can’t afford it: I am connected to an unlimited source of abundance.
  8. No one will help me: The right circumstances and the right people are already here and will show up on time.
  9. It has never happened before: I am willing to attract all that I desire, beginning here and now.
  10. I’m not strong enough: I have access to unlimited assistance. My strength comes from my connection to my Source of being.
  11. I’m not smart enough: I am a creation of the Divine mind; all is perfect, and I am a genius in my own right.
  12. I’m too old (or not old enough): I am an infinite being. The age of my body has no bearing on what I do or who I am.
  13. The rules won’t let me: I live my life according to Divine rules.
  14. It’s too big: I think only about what I can do now. By thinking small, I accomplish great things.
  15. I don’t have the energy: I feel passionately about my life, and this passion fills me with excitement and energy.
  16. It’s my personal family history: I live in the present moment by being grateful for all of my life experiences as a child.
  17. I’m too busy: As I unclutter my life, I free myself to answer the callings of my soul.
  18. I’m too scared: I can accomplish anything I put my mind to, because I know that I am never alone.

2012 Theory

January 27th, 2010

As of late I was reading the book “Holy Blood, holy Grail”. I found some interesting connections to the same date that is usually given with 2012 rumors, December 23. I think I may have unraveled how a new age will come about. There are connections to monarchy, the European Union, Freemasonry, the financial crisis and the wrapping up war in Afghanistan in 2011. Even possible antichrist connections. I don’t think this new era will happen destructively or with fanfare. I believe these built-up of 2012 fears of destruction and major events is meant to be a distraction. 2012 fear, 12th planet/Nibiru, UFO’s/aliens, Atlantis, astronomical events, alternative creation theories, other ‘Gods’ will all have their place in the deception. They are all more than likely smokescreens and distractions for us to not notice something seemingly less monumental as a new government movement. They might even be used to benefit smooth transition by drawing everybody’s attention.

Amazon Book

January 23rd, 2010

I just purchased my first book through Amazon. The used books are nice because I was able to get a book that is no longer in print and is harder to find. It is called “When the Gods Came Down” by a British author named Alan Alford. He writes semi-historical and alternative history theory books. This one covers things from many different cultures and concerns the origins of the concept of ancient gods. It is a pretty long book but it has many different sections. So far it has been enjoyable and I would recommend it if you are interested in such topics.

The Tibetan Plateau

December 31st, 2009

Wild China: The Tibetan Plateau - The Nature of Things with David Suzuki | CBC-TV.
I was watching part three of the six part series on The Nature of Things called Wild China. This episode was entitled The Tibetan Plateau. The wildlife and animals were quite interesting but it also featured some information about local people and their lifestyles and religion. One part was especially interesting to me. Here is a brief description:

“Tibetan Buddhism and the beliefs of millions are focused on Mount Kailash - a remote mountain in the far West of Tibet where culture and landscape converge. Buddha achieved enlightenment here, and four major rivers flow from this region. Tibet’s many glaciers and rivers and its impact on the weather systems of Asia and the Indian subcontinent means this landscape and ancient culture provides a crucial life support system for much of the planet.”

Mount Kailash is considered a sacred place by the four other religions of the region and is considered to be the home of Lord Shiva who is seen as the supreme God. It’s name means Crystal and it is also known as “precious jewel of snows” and “water or river peak”. The mountain is so sacred that nobody has ever climbed it. In many forms of Hinduism it is regarded as the ultimate destination of souls and the spiritual center of the world. In one description it is the center of the world, it’s four faces are made of crystal, ruby, gold, and lapis lazuli. The four faces also represent the four directions and each face faces one of the four cardinal directions. It is the pillar of the world and the four rivers flow to the four quarters of and divide the world into four regions.

This is of interest and makes you wonder because it is said that four rivers flow from the Garden of Eden, which is also a spiritual center for the world as one walks with God there. The Tibetan Plateau is one of the highest regions of the world and many plant species are said to have derived from there. Many animal species also may have originated there according to some scientists, such as horses and elephants. Now there is the way to know if this is what inspired the Garden of Eden or not. It could be the place humanity emerged after the flood and is simply named after the garden.

I have finally subscribed to the coast to coast website. It is one of my favorite radio talk shows. With information about spirituality, paranormal, and science. Unfortunately it is only one at midnight or later. As a member I have access to streamlink so now I can listen whenever I choose and also listen to previous shows. I highly recommend this show.

2009 A Bust

December 19th, 2009

Well 2009 was pretty much a complete bust as far as my plans for my blog. In late April I became sick and have been in the hospital since. I’ve seen some major changes but my health has been fine a while now. Internet access was hard to come by. Hopefully the coming year will see the frequent posts I had planned to do.

Hello world!

December 24th, 2008

Welcome to my newest project that I will be attempting for the next year. Blogging is currently the biggest thing on the Internet so I thought I would try it out. Maybe I will capture something relevant in my musings instead of simply losing my “data” to the air or cyberspace. Recording for posterity purposes you might say.

I do more than likely have the time to keep up with it. It certainly would be more productive than playing games and I have been feeling I am wasting my time a lot lately.

So stay tuned in 2009!
